Art and craft activities allow children to process the world around them and express themselves and their interpretations in a creative way. Whether it's drawing, colouring, painting, moulding creations with playdough or craft activities, children develop important life skills. Drawing shapes, choosing colours, cutting patterns and moulding creations all develop a child's fine motor co-ordination and require children to demonstrate self control and patience as they explore their own creativity.
