About the Kangaroo
Found in Australia and neighboring islands. They are Marsupials, a type of mammal that gives birth to young 25 mm long approximately. The kangaroo has a pouch into which the young Joey crawls after it is born. The joey remains in the pouch for some 190 days before it leaves for short periods. For such large animals they move easily, with leaps of 8 - 9 metres in length.
